Ruman Edits - Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) Notice & Takedown Policy

Ruman Edits ("we," "our," or "us") respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). It is our policy to respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the DMCA.

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement and is accessible on our website, you may notify us by providing our designated DMCA agent with the following information in writing:

1. Information to Include in Your DMCA Notice:

A physical or electronic signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or if multiple copyrighted works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works.
Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity, and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, along with information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material (such as a URL).
Contact information of the complaining party, such as an address, telephone number, and an email address where the complaining party may be contacted.
A statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Upon receiving your valid DMCA notice, we will promptly investigate and remove the infringing content as appropriate under the DMCA.

3. Counter-Notice by Alleged Infringer:

If we remove or disable access to content based on a DMCA notice, the alleged infringer may submit a counter-notice. A valid counter-notice must include:

The infringer's physical or electronic signature.
Identification of the material that has been removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before it was removed or disabled.
A statement under penalty of perjury that the infringer has a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
The infringer’s name, address, and telephone number, along with a statement that the alleged infringer consents to the jurisdiction of the federal court in their district, or if outside the United States, in any judicial district where Ruman Edits is located, and that the infringer will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notice or an agent of such person.
